I am in exceptional mood today! After Lt's gift of the week end to me I could smile most of the day. This week has begun with only good things.
Even though USS George Washington is not Lt's ship, I was pier side to welcome them home as they entered port. Being among so many happy people is difficult to resist and it was such a beautiful day. Who could resist such a temptation?
Even as I entered the gate I saw Tammy and she brightened with a smile and rendered a most proper salute (followed by a friendly wave).
I even anticipate Mother's coming visit with a smile even though it is weeks away. Unless some difficulty arises she will not arrive until one week before my due date.
Again I have found joy in my violin. Lt claims I play too long since I do not allow him to listen to his music without head phones when I play. I do not know what he complains of. His headphones are wireless so it is not as if he must pull a cord throughout the house. I suspect he does not prefer my playing. I am tempted to invite Cynthia to visit and she can instruct me of playing fiddle. We will discover if that is music more to his preference.
I will enjoy this mood while I am able. Who is to know how long it will last?
