Today was a day I can be with Mother often. There were no attempts to educate me. There was no scolding. There was only conversation.
She told me of her thoughts at home. How Jiao is performing her studies. Father is waiting for me to be in Japan because it is easier to visit there. My brother is jealous of me. His wife more so. I have a house. He does not.
If Mother would have more of these conversations her visits would be welcome more often.
