It has been an uneventful week. Mother has been good with no more embarrassing conversations in public. Her "instruction" has been little though blunt. We have shopped. We have picnicked. Mother has patiently awaited my return from working. She need not do so this next week. I work for Big Boss no more. The network is full function and a new administrator is given unquestioning authority of it.(meaning New Engineer will know his place)
A surprising event has occurred! Mother spoke with My Lieutenant at length on the phone! It sounded of pleasant conversation and the occasional laugh. Perhaps Mother is coming to accept him faster than I had hoped. We will see.
There are 15 days until my departure!
Fifteen days ... ugh.
