Another Week Done

Another week is done. My get up and go got up and went and has yet to return. According to the doctor, this is normal and I should return to normal as we get my medicines settled. Normal. What will that be? At the moment, I can swallow sips and nibbles. There is a constant feeling of something stuck in my throat that I just can not swallow. I can only hope it improves soon.

It seems the endocrinologist is not so important as to be seen so soon after surgery. I finally have an appointment scheduled for January 30. It is a long time away but there is plenty to occupy my time until then. I have several lab tests scheduled along with follow-up appointments. I will not be bored.

Mother will leave soon and I will return to doing all the cooking. Mother will return home since Jared is finally home after six months. Do not fear. He will enjoy mother's cooking for a few days. Then he is stuck with mine.

The only thing to think of now is will Jared be underway at the end of January? He will not be deployed for months but for days is a possibility. After all, ships are not built to sit at the pier. China could choose to do something foolish and off the ship will go. Oh well. Such is the Navy life. Where else can one have such a large group of people call her Aunt Mei?

We will squeeze in ass many outings as possible while we wait for next year's deployment or the various under-ways that are sure to come. I'm thinking the Lego's Discovery Center will be the first. We will see after that.
