My Coastie is here and he sleeps. Exhausted from flying he fell asleep on the sofa and I was unable to wake him. Mother Bing tells me she will wake him later to send him to his bed. She sent me home to rest for myself.
I have spoken to Coastie of my intentions. He says it is not important. I said it is important to me. He has not seen so much of my skin as he will see. Mother Bing and Cherry will bring him tomorrow. I will be well supervised.
Mother Bing asks why I think of this as important. I told her it is as when buying a car. One would not buy it only having looked at the brochure. One must see for themselves it is sound and the paint does not hide critical flaws. In like manner, Coastie must see that what scars I have do not change his desire for me. Would it be just of me to with hold this information from him until our wedding night? I think not.
It is enough he must buy this car with no test drive. He will be required to trust me. ;)
These seem like amusing circumstances, what with Mother Bing and Cherry accompanying him and then supervising the presentation. :-) Sorry, but it's funny to imagine this, actually. I rarely hear of such courting practices anymore.
