Early Rising

I have always started my day in early morning. For me to "sleep in" means I slept until 7 am. Lt has always risen early also so it seems we are a good match in that. Since becoming Navy he tends to rise earlier (4 am). It is earlier than I prefer. I am commonly awake before 6 am. Since arriving in Japan I accommodate Lt by rising at 5. This allows time for me to wake fully and prepare his breakfast. That had become our morning routine.

I say "had" because it seems since Lt has been home Little One awakes at the same time as Lt and demands attention from Lt. I will not do even though I am the source of his breakfast. Who am I to deny them their special time? (ツ)_/¯

My issue is, Lo is done with Lt after 30 minutes then wants breakfast and refuses to return to sleep. Results? I am required at 4:30 am.

It is only 30 minutes you say. Such little time surely does not make such a difference. I suggest you determine to wake an hour earlier than is usual for you. Then, wake 30 minutes before that time.

Now tell me 30 minutes makes no difference.

  1. I always manage to stay up after Kyle leaves for PT at 4:45. It's very annoying haha.
