The ship has returned. They were away for 11 weeks. The fanfare of the ship's return is as I remember it. For those who have read my posts before, you would see I often attend other ships homecoming just for the happy atmosphere. It does not compare to our own ship coming home though. My sailor has returned.
We have not slowed down very much since his return and we have plans to for the remainder of the week. Jared took leave so we can spend time since, as he says it, since this time out was an unexpected time to be made amends for. This is only a quick note to remind you I still live.

Yay, Mei! I'm so happy Jared is home with your sweet family again! Enjoy every second and that sweet baby girl growing! I bet he's so excited!
